Good experts will also literally “show their hand” versus a closed fist. Again, this indicates to jurors that there is nothing to hide. Body orientation is also important. Facing the jury as squarely as possible, versus turning their back, will also instill confidence in the golf expert testimony.

A critical component to being a quality expert golf witness is to balance one’s leanings. If an expert is too “objective” or flip-flops in their opinions, they will lose their impact.
